On June 17, at least 240,000 people took to the streets, in 11 capitals, to protest mainly against the increase in bus fares. The acts, called by social networks, were marked by the absence of political parties, unions and student entities in their organization. In Rio de Janeiro the public was estimated at 100 thousand people.
