Opening March.‘Loucas de Pedra Lilás’ (raving mad lilac) theater group. The March against War and for Peace signaled the opening of the II WSF and involved the participation of 40,000 people. The II WSF brought together over 50,000 people from 150 countries in Porto Alegre, between January 31 and February 5, 2002.
