The 6th International Conference on Adult Education - CONFITEA VI took place in Belém, between December 1st and 4th, and brought together 1,125 delegates representing 144 countries. CONFITEA is convened by UNESCO every 12 years, bringing together representatives from member states to define global guidelines and policies for adult education.
