Demonstration of the Campaign against Fundamentalisms. The Campaign, launched at the WSF by the Marcosur Feminist Articulation, used the slogans ‘Against Fundamentalisms, People Are Fundamental’  and ‘Your Mouth is Fundamental against Fundamentalism’ aiming to denounce religious, economic, scientific and cultural fundamentalisms that primarily affect women's lives. The II WSF brought together over 50,000 people from 150 countries in Porto Alegre, between January 31 and February 5, 2002.
