General meeting of Rio de Janeiro public school system teachers organized by the State Center for Teachers (CEP) and held at the Sambadrome. An estimated 5,000 teachers attended the general meeting where it was decided that the teachers of the State school system would return the classrooms and those of the Municipal system would remain on strike, with the exception of those of 17 Municipalities that decided to return to their classrooms.
