Na cerimônia de abertura da IV Conferência Mundial sobre a Mulher foi apresentado um show com participação de cerca de 6.000 chineses(as) que culminou com a revoada de 20 mil pombos. A IV Conferência Mundial sobre a Mulher aconteceu entre os dias 4 e 15 de setembro de 1995 e contou com a participação de cerca de 400 delegados (as) representantes de 197 países e 5.260 observadores (as).
