 O encontro reuniu, em Porto Alegre, entre os dias 27 de março e 2 de abril, mulheres de vários países da América Latina e Caribe. No último dia foi realizada a IV Assembleia Geral  da Rede de Educação Popular entre Mulheres da América Latina e Caribe, REPEM  que elegeu a sua coordenadora  Geral e Conselho Diretor para o período 2005/2007.
