The 5th edition of the World Social Forum was held in Porto Alegre from January 26th to 31th and brought together 155,000 participants from 151 countries. The World Social Forum (WSF) is an alter-globalization event organized by social movements of all continents, in order to develop alternatives for global social transformation. Its slogan is ‘Another world is possible’.
